Working with our team, you will select the perfect plot for your home from our “land bank”. An experienced architect will then guide you through each stage of the planning and design process bringing your ideas to life and preparing the budget for your lifestyle home. At this point we can discuss the building methods, for example, whether a concrete, steel or stone building is more suitable for you individual project.
We will make all the necessary applications for building permits on your behalf and your appointed lawyer will make the appropriate searches to ensure the land is cleared with the forestry and archaeological authorities and that the current ownership is clear. They will also ensure there are no covenants attached to the land or financial obligations held against it.
Lifestyle Homes will agree and set up a comfortable staged payment plan. Our customers are protected from the risk of paying the entire amount of the purchase in advance. Documentary proof and photo evidence will be provided in a format of choice. This way you are able to monitor the progress of the build and ensure each milestone is reached before releasing the next payment stage amount.
Once we have obtained the building permit your build will commence. Lifestyle Homes will appoint a project manager to oversee the entire build giving you confidence in achieving building completion to plan and on schedule.
Classic Stone Houses
Lifestyle Homes has borrowed this phrase to describe its renovation and refurbishment projects.
Many of our customers feel they want to revive a traditional Greek building. If they are lucky enough to find the right plot and ruin, we will help to bring their ideas to life, adding design touches give that authentic feel so often lacking in many new houses.
Turkish, Greco Roman and Gothic styles all provide inspiration for visualising how your home will look. There is never any doubt that the finished home will truly reflect the individual style and nature of its owner.
Contemporary Medeterranean
Contemporary Mediterranean and Linear Modern styles are all about space. These styles of house maximise the use of modern building materials and feature large open rooms. Tall windows and multi-aspect rooms flood the space with light and frame the views of Crete to perfection.
Pergolas shade the house and the terraces from the glare of the midday sun and flat roofs allow commanding views even from single storey buildings.

Brilliant white houses with blue shutters are the postcard image of houses found on the Cycladic Islands of Greece.
Whilst retaining the shape and design of these typical Greek houses, we have adapted our homes to blend with the Cretan landscape. Included is a first floor terrace accessed from the bedrooms. All interiors have cool tiled floors and the house is surrounded by patios and pergolas for shade and outdoor living in comfort.
Traditional Homes
Beautiful elongated stone arches, wooden ceilings, fireplaces and wooden shutters are some of the attractive elements of the traditional houses found in villages across Crete.
